Love the TomTom app

I prefer the TomTom app over the Apple maps. While Apple maps is pretty, it is also dumbed down quite a bit too. The TomTom app is a dedicated GPS app which gives a LOT more control over our route.

Furthermore, the map data is all stored locally on the iPhone, meaning you do not need an Internet connection to create a new route. There are still many places in the US where we drive that does not have cell phone coverage (and we have a major carrier). I would not like to lose the ability to generate a new route because I was dependent on cell phone coverage.

If you drive a lot, the TomTom app is well worth the price.
